Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Assistant to join our finance department on a 1 year contract basis. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various accounting and financial tasks, including but not limited to processing invoices, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and assisting with month-end close procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and records
- Assist with month-end close procedures
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Provide support to the finance team as needed
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
