Application Development Manager (Trading / Securities / Brokerage / Asset industry)
We are seeking an experienced Application Development Manager to lead our development team. The ideal candidate will bring strong industry expertise, leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage projects and collaborate with global teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a development team to run digital transformation projects and operation support
- Collaborate with the Regional IT team to ensure seamless project coordination and communication.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of trading platforms and back office systems.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ensure IT operations, security, and infrastructure comply with best practices and adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role to lead and drive high performance development team.
- Proven experience in developing and managing trading or back-office systems.
- Relevant experience in the financial sector (preferably Securities / Brokerage / Asset), with knowledge of MAS regulations.
- Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of the SDLC process.
