Job Description
- Carry out duties as specified by WSH Act.
- Assist in the implementation of the EHS management system
- Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Carry out daily WSH inspections including machinery, equipment, plant, installation.
- Functions as the Site EHS Assessor in the verification of the hazardous works.
- Conduct EHS induction course for new employees and contractors.
- Ensure that Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedure are brief to workers and sub-contractor.
- Identify WSH hazards and implement control measures.
- Preparation of monthly WSH reports, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures and Permit to works submission in accordance with Main Contractor requirements.
- Ensure workers and sub-contractors comply with EHS Management System & applicable legal requirements.
- Maintain and monitor EHS records/ checklists.
- Participate and facilitate in Internal/External audits.
- Investigate and report WSH all incidents & near misses.
- Conduct WSH and other related training.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and Management.
Requirements
- WSQ advance certificate in WSH or Safety Coordinator training course.
- WAH assessor certificate.
- Risk management course.
- Responsible and with a good attitude.
- A team player and ability to work independently.
- Minimum 3 years experience in WSH-related industry.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
