Location: Alexandra Primary School, 2A Prince Charles Crescent, Singapore 159016
Contract Duration: 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday (Including school holidays): 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break.
- Total Hours per Week: 42.5 hours.
- Note: Services are not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays unless otherwise specified. Adjustments to the schedule may be required within the 42.5-hour framework.
Key Responsibilities
ICT Support
- Assist the HOD ICT in managing daily ICT services and overseeing project implementations.
- Support MOE policies, ensuring compliance with guidelines and standards.
- Manage and update the school’s website using IsomerCMS, WordPress, or Swiiit.
- Handle vendor coordination, contract management, and preparation of ITQ specifications and documentation.
- Assist in ICT asset management, including inventory and loan equipment tracking.
- Troubleshoot technical issues (e.g., PC, printer, and LAN connectivity).
- Conduct evaluations for AV and ICT devices, and prepare procurement-related documentation.
ICT Training
- Plan and deliver Just-In-Time (JIT) training/workshops for staff and students.
- Prepare and present multimedia training materials.
- Infuse digital literacy in teaching and learning curriculums.
- Organize and conduct ICT training for effective implementation.
- Research and propose tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
Other Duties
- Photograph and video record significant school events using DSLR cameras.
- Film, edit, and create videos for school activities, ensuring high-quality output.
- Live-stream major school events and manage AVA setups for assemblies and functions.
- Carry out any additional duties as assigned by school leaders.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience as an ICT Executive, preferably in a Singapore primary school environment.
- Hands-on experience with ICT projects and managing school ICT assets.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CMS platforms such as WordPress.
- Advanced knowledge of video editing software and livestreaming tools (preferably in iOS or Mac environments).
- Ability to troubleshoot IT systems and set up AV sound systems.
- Training and Communication:
- Capable of preparing and conducting ICT training sessions for staff and students.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Strong planning, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
- Physically capable of moving and setting up IT and AV equipment.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
