The Company
Our client, a global leader in the chemical industry, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their chemical manufacturing team. This role reports directly to the Head of Engineering.
The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning, executing, and optimizing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities using FMEA and RCM methodologies.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues to minimize downtime and enhance equipment efficiency.
- Monitoring equipment performance metrics and recommending upgrades or modifications where necessary.
- Incorporating sustainable practices into maintenance operations, with a focus on energy efficiency and waste reduction.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical or maintenance engineering, preferably within the chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing sectors.
