Responsibilities
- AI Model Development: Design, build, and deploy machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) models tailored to organizational needs.
- Data Management: Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to ensure data quality and relevance for model training and testing.
- Algorithm Design: Develop and implement custom algorithms for predictive analytics, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or other AI domains.
- Model Optimization: Tune hyperparameters, improve model accuracy, and address issues like overfitting or underfitting.
- System Integration: Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI models into existing products or platforms.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor AI models in production, ensuring they remain accurate, efficient, and up-to-date.
- Innovation: Research and stay updated on the latest AI technologies, tools, and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of models, algorithms, and processes to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Proven experience in machine learning, deep learning, and AI model development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Expertise in frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Keras.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistics.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for AI/ML deployment.
- Familiarity with tools for version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
- Understanding of ethical considerations in AI and bias mitigation.
- Certifications in AI/ML or cloud computing.
