IT Support Officer

Nittan Capital Singapore Pte. Ltd.

1. IT Technical Responsibilities

  1. Maintenance, administration and monitoring of Servers
  2. Perform Server administration and management of windows servers, VMWare, AD Domain services, AD Certificate services, DHCP, DNS, MS Exchange and Email filtering
  3. User account creation and deletion for Windows, Emails, BT, VPN, Messenger and door access
  4. Maintenance/ Administration of Network Infrastructure
  5. Maintain and update firewall settings
  6. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, routers, switches, voice circuits, leased lines, telephone lines, etc for the smooth operations of the Company
  7. Assist IT Manager in implementing information and cyber security and control structures
  8. Handle system backup, storage management and system recovery.
  9. Conduct servers backup (daily/weekly/monthly backup)
  10. Handle renewal of maintenance services for IT equipment/ software licenses
  11. Perform tests and evaluations on new software and hardware
  12. Liaise with vendors for IT equipment purchase and technical support
  13. Liaise with vendors for new voice circuits, leased lines, data subscriptions, etc
  14. Check invoices from vendors & perform cost allocation (Voice circuits & data subscription) for Finance
  15. Provide desktop support duties
  16. Workstation and trading phone setup for new users
  17. Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems networks, printers and scanners, etc.
  18. Provide technical support for User Desktops, BT Trading system, voice circuits, etc across the company (in person or over phone)
  19. Support of desktop applications like Bloomberg and Refinitiv related applications
  20. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
  21. Rollout Windows updates and patches
  22. Regular checks for PC and Server OS patches and updates

2. Others

  1. Assist in office renovation
  2. Shifting of User positions or desk positions
  3. Perform duties of an SMO – Safe Management Officer (acting as a back-up for the main SMO)
  4. Any adhoc assignments by Management

Requirements

- Minimum Diploma in Information Technology related field

- Minimum 1 year of experience

- Experience in firewalls, routers and switches configurations

- Experience in MS Active Directory Account, MS Exchange, VMWare and Linux administration

- Meticulous, resourceful, independent, good interpersonal skills and sense of responsibility

- Possess MCSA, MCP, CCNA knowledge and working experience in financial sector will be added advantage

- Good interpersonal skills

- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays occasionally
