Accounts Clerk is responsible for keeping and interpreting financial records for a wide range of finance-related tasks and recording financial transactions pertaining to a business.Under direction, to perform professional accounting and fiscal work including establishing and maintaining fiscal records and preparing accounting, statistical and narrative reports; and to improve existing accounting processes.
Job Scope
· Handling full set accounts and month end financial reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate month end and year end financial closing processes
· Prepare audi schedules and management reports
· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
· Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation and accounts supporting schedules
- Prepare Commission computation
· Prepare quarterly GST submission and income tax schedule
· Attend to internal and external queries and requests (e.g. tax, internal audit, external audit, etc)
· Other ad-hoc assignments
Job requirement
· Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent
· Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in handling full set of accounts independently
· Audit experience is an added advantage
· Excellent knowledge in Excel
· Organized, meticulous, patient, and proactive
