Client Engagement:
- Provide strategic counsel to key clients & serve as a trusted advisor on clients & competitors
- Manage & grow senior-level client relationships
- Assure internal & external stakeholders are aligned
- Strategic direction on accounts, keeping clients informed of account direction and maintaining forward momentum on projects
- You’re an operational excellence engine that are an ace at project management, delivery & timelines.
- Negotiate & manage client expectations & satisfaction
- Assist in strategy, planning and budget setting processes
- You must get B2B marketing & are an ace at it
Business Acumen and Strategic Thinking:
- Develop & execute integrated communication plans
- Data, Audience insights, and planning capabilities.
- Participate in budget & resource management & tracking team utilization
- Drive cross-team integration/ collaboration
- Build awareness & showcase capabilities, talent & results internally & externally
- Ability to detect and mitigate possible issues, conflicts, and disruptions in the business
- Oversee content, including press releases, articles, media kits, and pitch materials, that aligns with client objectives and enhances brand positioning.
- Collaborate with creative and digital teams to produce integrated content, actively contributing to the creation and refinement of strategic messaging.
New Business Development:
- Assess validity and value of new & organic growth opportunities
- Serve as a project manager in preparation & delivery of organic growth or new business proposal content & in-person pitch meetings
- Share industry POV and strong understanding of shifts and opportunities in the competitive agency landscape
- Inform, educate & influence existing and potential future clients directly on WE value and positioning relative to competing agencies
- Have a keen eye for opportunities to expand agencies scope and value add to the clients
- Is able to connect the dots and see the bigger picture for the client and agency
People Leadership:
- Manage career development & performance of direct reports
- Mentor and motivate staff with the goal of retention and development
- Oversee resource allocation across team including staffing/hiring/on boarding new talent
- Partner with Human Resources to manage employee relations issues
- Manage up & educate senior staff on crisis issues, & client/team satisfaction
- Model & hold team accountable to demonstrating agency values
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build & grow relationships with key, senior level media/influencers/KOLs
- Solicit & share feedback/perception from media & KOLs regarding client(s), competition & position in the industry in order to counsel clients & inform actions
- Identify global, digital & social communication trends; educate clients/agency
- Conceive & tell strategic stories apart from client business milestones
- Manage junior level staff on global influencer processes & trends
Digital, Social & Healthcare Acumen:
- Identify & drive digital/social media strategies; either standalone or as integration into all communication marketing plans
- Support the establishment of social media objectives & goals across the account in line with healthcare policies and regulations
- Articulate emerging media platforms & if/how they meet client’s business needs
- Lead clients in understanding the importance of social media engagement or newer platforms for engagement (eg: LinkedIn, SEO, native advertising, etc)
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 years communications experience (marketing, internal communications, external communications), across PR agencies and/or in-house roles
- Good understanding of the Asian & healthcare media/platforms landscape including strong relationships with Singapore based journalists and media
- Track-record of running successful campaigns in Asia is a requirement
- Sound knowledge and interest in the Healthcare sector is a requirement
- Experience in community management, influencer engagement and social media campaigns is preferred
- Superior written and verbal communications skills; demonstrated ability to effectively multitask, delegate and manage assignments and accurately evaluate others’ work
- Writing skills – you will be a master of words and can/should be able to articulate and write proper digital/data first proposals or communications proposals.
- Ability to act as a daily client contact for multiple clients simultaneously and possesses a track record of responsible, client-related finance management, including comprehensive managing within client budgets
- Able to manage and inspire a team and to make sound judgments daily, knowing when to seek senior counsel
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) required. A second regional language such as Mandarin would be a bonus
- Any leadership experience mentoring a junior would be a bonus
