Responsibilities
- Support the BIM Manager in coordinating and developing models of structural elements.
- Prepare and deliver visuals (VDC) and structural shop drawings to aid construction activities.
- Collaborate with consultants and representatives from other trades to address clashes and interfacing issues.
- Extract critical project data from models for purposes like quantity take-offs and logistics planning.
- Work with project planners to create 4D models.
- Coordinate with document controllers to ensure accurate data transfer.
- Resolve basic modeling issues in collaboration with peers from various disciplines.
- Assist in preparing documentation for BIM-related records and submissions.
- Manage multiple overseas projects of varying scales simultaneously.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience as a BIM coordinator or modeler.
- Proficiency in creating structural shop drawings.
- Skilled in using Revit and Navisworks.
- Strong understanding of building works, especially civil and infrastructural projects, with the ability to align BIM with construction requirements.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software or technologies.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and Dynamo is a plus.
- Experience implementing BIM processes in large-scale construction projects, from tender to completion stages, including asset management models, COBIE systems, and standard classifications is a plus.
