Position: Delivery Driver Working Days: Monday to Saturday (Full Day) Note: Public Holidays (PH) and Sundays are off. However, drivers may be required to work shifts depending on manpower needs.
Salary:
- Starting from $2,500 to $3,000
- Salary is based on attendance and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery:
Operate a 10ft freezer truck (with cabin height) to deliver goods to various locations.
Responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering products safely to customers.
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to all assigned destinations. - Route Management:
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring all scheduled deliveries are completed within designated timeframes.
Communicate with the office to report any issues or delays encountered during the delivery process. - Pickup and Return:
Daily pickup of stock from the west side warehouse (location to be specified) for delivery to various destinations.
If a public holiday falls on Wednesday, on Tuesday after completing deliveries, return to the west side to pick up stock for the following Wednesday delivery. Then deliver the stock to the central south office and complete the workday. - Vehicle Maintenance and Cleanliness:
Ensure the assigned truck is kept in good working condition by performing basic maintenance checks (e.g., tire pressure, fuel levels).
Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the truck, especially the freezer section. - Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate delivery records, including stock inventory, delivery logs, and any necessary documentation.
Ensure that goods are delivered as per customer requirements and receive proper signatures for confirmation.
Requirements:
- SG Class 3 Driver's License: Must possess a valid Singapore Class 3 license to drive a 10ft freezer truck.
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery driving or similar roles is a plus but not required.
- Physically Fit: Ability to handle the loading/unloading of goods and manage the demands of driving a truck.
- Good Communication Skills: Ability to interact with customers and the office team for smooth operations.
- Dependable: Punctuality and consistent attendance are critical for maintaining service levels.
