Risk & BCP Analyst (Corporate Real Estate)

Business Function
The Corporate Real Estate team supports real estate services for one of Singapore largest bank across the region including portfolio management, lease management, fit-out works, maintenance works. This role will support the real estate team's Operational Risk and Business Continuity Management.
Responsibilities
Risk, Compliance & Control
- Consolidate inputs from the stakeholders, prepares and submits Risk reports as required by different departments.
- Work with stakeholders to perform review of risk events, root cause analysis and ensures measures are implemented to mitigate risk and impact.
- Assist in preparation of Risk Report with analysis and trending to update management.
- Deliver Risk & Control related initiatives as required.
- Identify trends and any systemic issues/emerging risk trends, and to highlight key risk insights and actionable areas requiring focus in managing risk & control across units and locations
- Assists in audit checks, co-ordinate Audit exercise and inputs into system.
- Co-ordinate with stakeholders to maintain and update the real estate team's Operation Handbook and SOP document. Assist in the communication of Policy/Standards/Guides roll-out, Operation Handbook/SOP updates and deviation management of approved processes,
- Conduct risk & control training to raise staff risk awareness.
- Maintain and update Risk & Control share point.
Business Continuity Management
- Co-ordinate with stakeholders in reviewing the Unit’s Business Continuity Plans; prepares and submits the related reports in line with the unit’s recovery strategy.
- Plan and deliver the required Unit BCP related exercises and reports.
- Proactively identify gaps in the BCP plans, emerging threats and work with the relevant parties to ensure that the unit BCP plan addresses the prevailing threats and effectively address the risk of business interruption.
- Co-ordinate and participate in the BCP/Pandemic/Cyber Threat/Tabletop simulation exercises with backup teams and Group Business Continuity Management team.
Unit Workplace Safety & Health
- Cascade, reports and update on Unit’s workplace safety and health issues.
- Co-ordinate with the relevant parties to conduct risk assessment, risk control and safe work procedures for unit where required.
- Conduct annual unit workplace safety and health checks and RCSA for workplace safety and health.
Requirements
- Has a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant working experience and preferably with an understanding in Real Estate Management, Leasing, Project Management and Facility Management framework.
- Meticulous and consistently able to gate-keep and house-keep information in an organized manner at all times
- Proficient in Microsoft software eg: excel/powerpoint/etc, data manipulation and analysis.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem solve, with analytical skills and think out-of-the-box to proactively identify key risk issues and trending.
- Independent self-starter with ability to multi-task and deliver works timely.
