Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of projects within the IITS department.
- Oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage project teams, stakeholders, vendors, and outsourcing contracts.
- Monitor and report project status to the project steering committee, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ensure project and system documentation is completed in line with the Project Development Methodology.
- Build strong user relationships by fostering trust and rapport.
- Provide valuable guidance on best practices for utilizing appropriate technologies.
- Review and enhance work processes, and support users in managing change.
- Align project changes with organizational goals and objectives.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to gather user feedback.
- Assist supervisors in reviewing and ensuring the quality of team members' deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience, with a proven track record of at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager.
- Extensive experience in project leadership and management, with proficiency in project management methodologies, techniques, and tools.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, CITPM) is preferred.
- Experience in business process management, especially in human resources, finance, or procurement administration, is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and structured project development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal, conflict management, and negotiation abilities.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently.
