Responsibilities
· Listen to customers’ preference and recommend suitable hairstyle, colouring and treatment
· Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, colouring, perming, rebonding, etc
· Train, lead and motivate all staff to ensure smooth running of daily operations in an energetic environment
· Maintain cordial relationship with customers, build up customer base and ensure customers’ retention
· Ensure all staff uphold the highest standard of customers’ service and cleanliness
· Handle customers’ complaints and feedback professionally
· Maintains supplies by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing orders; verifying receipt.
· Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
· Maintains safe and healthy conditions by following organization standards and legal regulations.
Requirements
· Min 8 years of relevant experience with good customer base
· Driven to boost sales and profitability
· Well-groomed, proactive and self-motivated
· Good leadership and interpersonal skills
· Collaborate well with team members in a fun, professional work environment
· Knowledge of hairstyles and trends, and the expertise to achieve these looks
· Experience using different types of scissors, trimmers and other tools to create hairstyles
· Knowledge of chemicals for hairstyles including coloring agents and solutions that change hair texture
· A willingness to learn about new styles and techniques
· The ability to communicate with customers and understand their needs
· Knowledge of related health, safety and cleanliness standards
