Mercantile Pacific Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Vice President, Strategic Transformation & Digital Initiatives to drive transformative growth and innovation across the organization. This strategic, senior management role combines expertise in corporate transformation and digital initiatives to enhance revenue, margins, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building internal and external capabilities, modernizing the organization, and embedding a culture of entrepreneurship while directly supporting strategic projects through digital transformation.
This role requires a proven leader with extensive experience in strategy, organizational transformation, IT, and digitalization, combined with significant international exposure. Candidates should have a strong background in working across multiple continents and be familiar with business practices in South-East Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. The position is full-time and demands high levels of dedication, often involving six working days per week and frequent international travel to regions such as the UAE, Europe, India, Pakistan, and others.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Transformation
- Revenue Growth and Margin Expansion:
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance financial performance.
- Identify new market opportunities and revenue streams.
- Corporate Structural Enhancements:
- Streamline business processes to maximize productivity.
- Establish an organizational structure that empowers significant growth as well as flexibility to enter new markets
- Promote a corporate culture cantered on entrepreneurship and innovation.
- Enhance Company Capabilities:
- Foster a data-driven decision-making culture.
- Build expertise in managing large-scale programs and projects.
- Marketing, Brand Strategy and Customer Awareness:
- Enhance the customer awareness of the existing brand.

Digital Initiatives
- Process Optimization with Technology:
- Leverage IT to streamline and optimize existing business processes.
- Strategic IT Support:
- Align IT initiatives with organizational goals to support strategic projects.
- Data Visibility and Insights:
- Implement systems that provide a single point of truth and end-to-end business visibility.
- IT Team Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team to enhance project and portfolio management, data analytics, and business intelligence capabilities.
Key Qualifications
- Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields. A Master’s degree (MBA) is strongly preferred. - Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in strategy, organizational transformation, and digital transformation.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation initiatives and IT-driven innovation.
- Strong background in program management, business process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
- International Experience:
- Significant exposure to working in global environments across multiple continents.
- Familiarity with business practices and cultural nuances in South-East Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
- Leadership Skills:
- Exceptional ability to inspire and lead diverse teams across geographies.
- Proven track record of building internal capabilities and promoting entrepreneurial cultures.
- Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, business intelligence tools, and portfolio management.
