JOB DESCRIPTIONS
· Develop annual sales plans and sales targets.
· Collaborate with customers to plan their material needs, specifically sourcing and requisitioning food packaging materials for manufacturing.
· Work closely with suppliers to ensure product specifications are met and delivery schedules are coordinated on behalf of customers.
· Address and follow up on customer feedback and claims.
· Liaise with the sales admin and logistics support teams to coordinate shipments and ensure delivery timelines are met.
· Prepare sales and marketing reports for management review.
· Ensure timely payments from customers.
· Conduct day trips to Johor Bahru to ensure printing accuracy and smooth production.
· Undertake overseas business trips to strengthen relationships and provide excellent customer service.
· Establish and maintain communication with the Japan headquarters regarding technical advice and support for quality control issues.
· Monitor and ensure suppliers consistently provide optimal service and quality.
· Introduce and present new products and packaging solutions to customers.
· Negotiate with suppliers and principals on pricing and better trading terms.
Source for new products, solutions, and suppliers to support business expansion and improve cost-effectiveness
Qualification:
· Degree in business related studies
· At least 2 - 3 years related working experience in trading business.
· Knowledge of trading terms is preferred.
· Occasional travel to Johor Bahru (JB) for business meetings with suppliers
Report to : Head of Department
Nationality : Singaporean or Permanent Resident (No work pass holders)
Date requires : Able to start work immediately or within short notice
Owning vehicle : Not required, but a valid Class 3 driving license is necessary for driving to Johor Bahru (day trips, frequency based on business needs).
