Position: Dry Bulk Operation (Senior Executive to Manager) (Job ID: 19364)
Job Description:
➤Working as operation & coordination manager (title variable), supporting chartering PIC over all sizes (handy-panamax)
➤Following up nomination and documentation process after fixing vessels (in/out)
➤Coordinating information flow among offices (mainly among Tokyo – Manila – Singapore)
➤Proactively taking initiative in communication with other overseas offices
➤Giving initial instruction to operation PIC in other offices (mainly Tokyo or Manila)
➤Minimal trouble shooting in case of having any operational issue, discussing with GM and chartering PIC
➤Communicating with customer and/or brokers about basic commercial issues, on behalf of post-fixture and/or operation PIC(s) of other offices (just in case there is geographical/locational benefit in Singapore office)
➤Potentially taking PL monitoring role, in case of successful performance in given role
➤Other Ad-hoc duties when assigned by managements
Job Requirements:
➤Minimum Degree holder.
➤Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial shipping field (dry bulk preferred, but other shipping field also works).
➤Proficiency in a second or third language, such as Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin, would be advantageous to speak with clients from overseas.
➤Proper level of understanding about dry bulk shipping practice.
➤Basic understanding about charter party.
➤Proficient in MS Office applications.
➤Good communication and socializing skill (both for internal and external).
➤Strong work-ethic and teamwork-oriented mindset.
➤Ownership and accountability in own role and assignment.
