Research Fellow position at Asst Prof Franklin Zhong's lab at LKCMedicine.
Asst Prof Franklin Zhong’s research group at LKC School of Medicine is looking for a postdoctoral fellow to join ongoing research on human innate immunity. We are particularly interested in PhD scientist which strong background in molecular biology and animal disease modeling.
Responsibilities:
- Modeling human diseases in rodents
- Analyzing mouse phenotypes in peripheral blood and secondary lymphoid organs
- Performing molecular biology experiments to understand signaling pathways involved in innate immunity
- Data analysis and reporting
- Preparing manuscripts for scientific publication
Key Competencies and Education Requirements:
- PhD in molecular biology, immunology or related disciplines
- Previous experience working with animal models of disease is a must
- Experience with immunophenotyping, common serological assays and macrophage and T cell functional assays
