Job Scope:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components
- Support the assembly of mechanical systems, ensuring alignment with specifications and quality standards
- Collaborate with engineers to improve and troubleshoot mechanical designs
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on assembled parts and systems
- Prepare and update technical documentation, including assembly instructions and reports
- Assist in the assembly and integration of mechanical components into final products
- Perform mechanical testing, collecting data and providing analysis for continuous improvement
- Support in the selection and procurement of materials for mechanical assemblies
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely and accurate assembly of components
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the assembly process
- Maintain and organize engineering tools, equipment, and assembly areas
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations during the assembly process
- Assist in the development of prototypes and new product designs.
Requirements:
- Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of industrial automation, jigs and fixture design, FMEA, SPC, CAD, and machine design is a plus
- Strong project management skills and self-disciplined
- Ability to work independently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel when necessary
