Job Scope:
- Create accurate 3D BIM models for M&E systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection)
- Use BIM software like Revit, AutoCAD MEP, or Navisworks
- Produce detailed M&E drawings (layouts, installations, system details)
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP teams
- Participate in coordination meetings and ensure integrated design
- Address clashes and conflicts through clash detection and resolution
- Perform regular clash detection using tools like Navisworks
- Resolve design conflicts and update models as necessary
- Generate M&E drawings, specifications, and schedules from the BIM model
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for reviews
- Assist project managers and engineers with planning and scheduling
- Support site teams with model-based coordination during construction
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of BIM models
- Adhere to BIM standards and protocols, maintaining version control
- Perform regular checks on models to ensure compliance
- Utilize Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and other BIM tools
- Stay updated on new technologies and software for M&E BIM integration
- Provide guidance and support to junior BIM modellers
- Conduct internal training on BIM processes and best practices
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Structural, M&E Engineering, Construction, or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in the Building Construction industry
- Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM Revit software
