Job Purpose:
To support the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies, coordinate promotional activities, analyse market trends, and assist in managing the overall sales and marketing team to drive revenue growth and achieve organizational goals and budgets.
Duties include:
- Follow up given customers – especially Japanese VIP customers mainly for engineering plastics product lines (Polycarbonate and Poly Butylene Terephthalate).
- Communication with the customers including price negotiations, delivery time, and counter for claim and complain with consultant from Host Company and other group affiliates.
- Create and execute the sales target and action plans along HQ (Japan) department and company policy.
- Establish business budget and action plan to support supervisors.
- Conduct business activity to achieve budget – Quantity, Sales Revenue and Gross Profit.
- Report and communicate with supervisors and HQ (Japan). Possess strong understanding on the internal workflow and communication channel of HQ (Japan) in order takeover existing customer and build up of new customer network within short period of time.
- Report business activity, result, forecast with financial data to HQ (Japan) and affiliates companies including facilitating the monthly/periodically meetings.
- Plan and execute marketing strategy aligned with HQ (Japan) department policy.
- Create the financial report to HQ (Japan) from the local sales data.
- Conduct market research mainly for engineering plastics product lines, but also for Host Company’s products in region which Host Company covers.
- Extend the sales network by utilizing trading companies.
- Credit control by cooperating with Accounting section.

Requirement
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing or a related field.
- 5 years experience in Sales and Marketing roles, with proven record of achieving sales targets and successful execution of marketing campaigns.
- Experience and knowledge about engineering plastics business for 4 years minimum.
- Knowledge about the production of the material (compounding) and the parts (molding).
- Experience and knowledge about automotive and medical industry.
- Demonstrated skills in marketing analysis, team management, and effective communication.
- Able to process Letter of Credit.
- Understanding of Incoterm.
- Fluent in Japanese for communication with Japan HQ and Japanese Customers.
- Excel and powerpoint (presentation) skill.
