We are looking for a Research Fellow with experience in working with polymer foams, composites and flame retardant materials in general.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within the framework of the project to achieve and go beyond the project objectives.
- To understand and improve the fire performance characteristics of polymer foams that are used for construction applications.
- To interact and closely work within a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team.
- Expected to display a very high degree of professional ethics
- Understand the safety issues while working with polymers and fire protection materials
Job Requirements:
- A PhD in relevant engineering or science disciplines is required;
- Relevant experience (flame retardant materials, understand of urethane chemistry, foams, testing of fire retardancy, etc.) is significant advantage.
- The candidate is expected to be an expert in the handling/processing of polymers, foams and/or fire retardancy.
- The candidate is required to understand insulation mechanisms, and work towards project goals within the timeframe of the project.
- Flame retardancy background is considered as a huge positive.
