Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, review, and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies to establish robust and efficient fundraising operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies in all fundraising processes.
- Oversee the implementation of operational frameworks that support effective donor engagement, gift processing, and stewardship activities.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to evaluate and enhance systems and workflows, ensuring smooth execution of fundraising activities.
- Manage the integration and utilization of CRM systems to improve data accuracy, reporting capabilities, and donor relationship management.
- Conduct regular reviews of fundraising practices, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement to streamline operations.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, guidelines, and training materials to support team members and stakeholders in adhering to best practices.
- Provide support for due diligence and compliance in donor research, ensuring information is accurate and aligned with operational standards.
- Partner with Advancement Communications, General Giving, and other teams to align operational strategies with broader fundraising goals.
- Monitor and analyse fundraising operations performance, producing reports and insights to inform strategic decisions
Requirements:
- A degree in a relevant discipline such as Arts, Business, Marketing, or Communications.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising operations, nonprofit management, or related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing, implementing, and managing SOPs, policies, and operational workflows.
- Proven track record of managing CRM systems and optimizing their use for donor management and reporting.
- Experience in regulatory compliance, data governance, and due diligence related to fundraising.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and standards for fundraising operations
- Exceptional written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- A proactive, independent self-starter with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Adept at engaging with diverse stakeholders and maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
- Proficient in MS Office and adaptable to new technologies.
