Job Functions & Summary:


Oversees all the maintenance and repair works of the equipment and machinery in the golf course maintenance workshop.


Job Roles & Responsibilities:


(1) Troubleshoot and maintained any faulty machinery, equipment and golf carts.

(2) Plan and organize all machinery and buggy checking and do the preventive maintenance/servicing as scheduled.

(3) Ensure and key-in, included but not limited to: data, update maintenance repair, inventory, receiving book and bin card.

(4) Monitor the machine operation systems in terms of its usability and the maintenance programs.

(5) Coordinate, assign and review the work of the maintenance staffs.

(6) Assist the Course Superintendent with the yearly budgeting.

(7) Responsible for daily reporting status of equipment downtime

(8) Responsible for part ordering and requesting quotations from vendors.

(9) Plans and arranges all the necessary steps on equipment scrapping.

(10) In-charge of inventory for ad-hoc projects.

(11) Responsible for setting parameters on the use of materials and services within the approved financial budgets of the machine and equipment.

(12) Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of workshop.

(13) Oversee a team of Maintenance Staff

(14) Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of strong technical working knowledge in mechanical operations with hands-on experience.
  • Strong practical and technical skills.
  • Good analytical skills to assess various properties and equipment and detect potential safety hazards.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
  • Highly motivated, quality driven and results oriented with excellent leadership capabilities.
  • An eye for detail to ensure quality control for tasks and highly motivated, quality driven and results oriented individual.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written, and positive attitude towards fostering teamwork among associates in support role.
  • Ability to lead, adapt, embrace strong cultural diversity, work with multi-ethnic teams.
