Information Technology (IT) Operation
- Manage information technology and computer systems
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Ensure company’s total compliance to ISO 27001 Information Security Management System at all time.
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time by develop innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs
- Work closely with departmental managers to determine the maintenance and growth needs of the network.
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
- Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
- Develop scopes of work for major projects, and provide technical guidance to sales, project and maintenance operation team when needed.
Training and Development
- Training. Ensure training is provided and work with the training group to assist in development of training materials as required.
- Competency Management. Keep employees’ technical knowledge up to date and propose training plans for each team member. Ensure that all the issues are well matched to the capability of the individuals within the team.
- Train and coach staff within the operation team.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience with networking security, cyber security or related work
- Understanding and experience in Microsoft, Windows or related operating systems
- Good experience with IT infrastructure, hardware & systems software and information security
- Strong technical IT operations knowledge in server virtualization, disaster recovery, server backups and storage management.
- Experience in implementation and management of enterprise systems.
- Strong vendor, service level and project management skills.
- Strong communications skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to effectively perform problem isolation and resolution of critical systems in order to have the least amount of impact and downtime
