Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to oversee and manage the testing efforts for assigned project. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of testing methodologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Job Description:
• Test Planning and Strategy: Preparation of the Test Plans for L1, L2 and L3 including test approach. Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with project goals and timelines including run plans for different run cycles.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of test engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective test execution and career development.
• Test Execution: Oversee the execution of test cases, including manual and automated testing, to identify and report defects and ensure thorough coverage of requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all software products meet established quality standards and adhere to industry best practices.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide status updates, and resolve issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
• Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with testing activities, ensuring that potential issues are identified and addressed proactively
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, defect reports, and test summaries.
• Project Management: The resource should be able to track project for the BAU solution.
Job Requirements:
• Hands on experience in setting the project in JIRA, expertise in JIRA, Tracking status, preparing different types of reports as per the stake holders requirements.
• Identifying the challenges upfront and communicate it on time.
• Supporting the UAT test manager in all the JIRA set up, test plans and tracking and following up things on behalf of UAT manager.
• Should be able to back up UAT test manager, should be able to work closely with UAT test Manager and support in all activities of the UAT test manager.
• Should be able to track Day to day activities of the project , follow up on the open items and bring them to closure accordingly.
• Should be able to be part of team and should be able to take owner ship , of the activities.
• Life insurance experience is preferred
