About the role
Responsible for conducting research and commercial real estate data analysis for a variety of organizational projects and initiatives. The role will encompass certain regular tasks around the collection and analysis of core data, as well as a range of activities that contribute to and support the team’s delivery of data analytics.
What you’ll do
- Regularly engages in advanced analysis of large data sets of various types.
- Provide analytical and collection support for global, regional and local research initiatives as needed.
- Uses data programming skills and platforms (SQL, Alteryx, R, Python) to automate data audits as well as routine processes to fill data gaps.
- Delivers and updates data dashboards in Tableau, and other visualization tools to inform stakeholders and market leaders.
- Engages local market research teams as needed for special projects.
- May provide content support to leadership in order to assist in representing CBRE's perspectives on property and market dynamics in a specific sector or geography.
- Adaptable to internal and external constituencies-sales professionals, management, media, real estate associations, clients-by providing relevant insights on market conditions and trends.
- No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.

What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in economics, finance, business administration and a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to clients.
- Requires knowledge of real estate and data terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, percentiles, etc. Conducts detailed data analysis.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in complex situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to handle and manipulate large amounts of data.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, Tableau, and programming software (SQL, Alteryx, R, Python)
