RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on analyzing and improving the quality of the LLM generated code. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by Prof Sun Jun from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University.
- Survey existing approaches on evaluating and improving the quality of LLM generated code
- Evaluate the quality of LLM generated code objectively using multiple metrics, particularly regarding soundness
- Propose approaches for improving the code generation based on consistency
- Implement the proposed approach and experiment it with state-of-the-art LLMs
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed approach and write a paper
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
- Minimum 2 years of relevant research experience in program analysis
- Basic knowledge/Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python and Java will be positively considered/ is required
- Demonstrated experience and know-how on LLMs
- Experience with at least one programming software/language, such as Python is preferred
- Excellent working knowledge of AI and Machine Learning
- Good analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
- Applicants with research publications in xxx area will be advantageous
- Self-motivated individuals who can work independently and collaboratively with team members
