We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Operations Manager to lead our shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple branches.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor financial performance and make strategic decisions to optimize profitability
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion
- Plan for shop deliveries, lead sales forecasting and reporting
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and partners
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and productivity, operationalize workflow
- Oversee procurement activities and inventory management
- Disseminate all corporate information and organize explanations in an efficient, clear and accurate formats and manner to all team members
- Handle and arrange orders, deliveries service including refund and complaints and resolve all complaints, feedback, verification and enquiries in the upmost efficient, effective, satisfying and timely manner in accordance to the Company’s standards and procedure
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple branches and team of operational staff, ensuring shops are running efficiently and effectively, and that monthly sales targets are met
- Plan and manage the work schedules of team members
- Develop and establish key channel partners in target areas.
- Managing and growing key customer accounts, and coordinating the management of all other accounts.
- Provide the training and coaching to the team.
- Overseeing salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees.
- Keeping records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance.
- Evaluating the supply and availability of stocks, and profit-margins.
- Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage.
- Monitoring shelve stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store.
- Investigating market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers.
- Supervise and assist in loading and unloading of goods (if required)
- Ensure the maintenance of allocated vehicle
- Ensure the security of all goods
- Ensure goods delivered to customers are in their original good condition
- Do quality check for goods receive, reject those defective goods
- Arrange and organize the goods to shelves, if required
- Moves and restructures organization of goods in warehouse to make space for new inventory.
- Assists in cleaning and organizing the store upon closing.
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team adaptable
- Negotiation and Conflict management
- Possess a valid class 3 driving license
- Good driving record
- Relevant work experience is preferred
- Able/ willing to work on Weekends/ Public holidays is an advantage.
