Job Description: SAP GTS Consultant
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP GTS Consultant to lead workshops with diverse stakeholders and provide expert hands-on knowledge across various functional areas of Global Trade Services (GTS). The ideal candidate will have recent, in-depth experience with SAP GTS and possess strong proficiency in managing trade compliance processes, customs operations, and related system integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workshop Facilitation:
- Drive workshops with large and varied audiences, ensuring effective communication and requirement gathering.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align solutions with organizational trade compliance goals.
- Trade Compliance Management:
- Implement and optimize Sanctioned Party List (SPL) screening using SAP HANA Search.
- Manage compliance requirements, including license determination and classification of customs/export control lists.
- Customs Operations:
- Support Customs and Export Control List Classification processes.
- Manage AU/NZ customs processes for both imports and exports.
- Work with customs forms, including Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin, and Shippers Letters of Instruction.
- Risk and License Management:
- Optimize Trade Preference Eligibility under risk management protocols.
- Handle License Management/Determination for global trade operations.
- Technology Enablement:
- Utilize Fiori apps to enhance user interaction and workflows.
- Implement and manage Customs Management Communication and broker integrations.
- Documentation and Communication:
- Create and manage Long-Term Supplier Declarations (LTSDs) and other essential documentation.
- Ensure seamless integration of communication between customs management systems and brokers.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in SAP GTS with at least 3 years of recent, hands-on experience.
- Deep expertise in global trade operations, compliance management, and customs processes.
- Familiarity with AU/NZ customs regulations and requirements.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori apps for enhanced functionality.
- Experience working with customs management forms and broker integration processes.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills for workshop facilitation.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and deliver tailored solutions for complex trade scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing trade compliance in highly regulated industries.
- Certification in SAP GTS or related SAP modules.
- Understanding of international trade agreements and preference programs.
