The Associate Director for Sugar Reduction Business Development ROA leads the profitable growth of the Sugar Reduction platform in the region, working with Regional TTH and Global Sugar Reduction teams to prioritize opportunities, execute a commercial roadmap, and drive sales pipeline success. Responsibilities include managing single sweetener sales and fostering partnerships with ingredient companies in the platform’s ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Director Technical Sales Sugar Reduction and the Global VP Sugar Reduction, this role is pivotal in addressing growth challenges and opportunities in the ROA market.

Your key responsibilities
· Define and prioritize market opportunities and threats. Anticipate market shifts, supply challenges, regulatory changes, and other external factors that may impact competitiveness. Monitor competitive landscape and define mitigation actions in alignment with Global Sugar Reduction team
· Build and execute a regional product and commercial roadmap to accelerate profitable business growth at country/category level. Actively engage with key stakeholders at regional and global level to ensure alignment on key intiatives. Ensure that Sugar Reduction business development roadmaps are in place and communicated for top regional customers
· Position sugar reduction solutions with differentiated value propositions across applications in ROA. Foster strong connections with the network of flavorists and technical teams to drive adoption of market relevant and best-in-class sugar reduction solutions
· Provide support to regional customer opportunities to grow and convert sales pipeline. Engage Global Sugar Reduction team as needed to convert regional must-win battles
· Collaborate with Regional Pricing Office and Sugar Reduction Commercial and Portfolio Directors to implement competitive pricing strategies. Support S&OP process
· Develop the single sweetners sales as well as the sales and partnerships development with the Ecosystem of Ingredients companies with which the Sugar Reduction platform is collaborating in ROA
You bring
· Bachelor's degree in Food Science required
· Minimum 10 years of experience in the flavor industry in commercial role
· Deep technical and commercial expertise in Sugar Reduction solutions is required
· Strong listening and analytical skills, with the ability to identify, prioritize and execute strategic initiatives for maximum business impact
· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive collaboration across functions and manage senior stakeholders
