Summary
The Regional Sales Manager for ASEAN will report to the CEO of the company. The incumbent will be responsible for defining, supporting and managing products and offerings specific to the ASEAN market. He / She is responsible for the Consulting and Trading business of our company. This is a full hunter role.
Job Description
You will be reporting to the CEO, your main job responsibilities include:
Trading
- Develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base within ASEAN Identifying new market opportunities, appointing new distributors for the region
- To build strong relationship with distributors and business partners, as well as having a good understanding on consumer and market insights
- To implement the right route-to-market as well as commercial pricing strategies to ensure revenue growth.
- Developing strategy development and execution for the business of Japanese products.
Consulting
- Perform analysis and develop a strategic proposal for the customer based on the findings of the business analysis and research.
- Develop and present a compelling business case story and strategy proposal.
Requirements
- Japanese Speaking
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing or any related field
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales and distributor management of Japanese products in the region
- Strong understanding and exposure to ASEAN market.
- Good leadership skills to coach and mentor team members as well as having an entrepreneurial mindset to lead the company.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in sales presentations and negotiations; Excellent stakeholder management, both internally and externally;
- Good organisational skills and ability to work well across functional and regional teams
- Having network with Japanese Government Agencies like JETRO will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience with promotion of Japanese food products is necessary.
