Job Description & Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Report to the Director and assist in day-to-day site management.
- Lead and supervise site teams of up to 25 persons.
- Oversee site operations, including daily reporting, planning, scheduling of activities, and coordination of subcontractors.
- Ensure strict adherence to site safety protocols and compliance with relevant authorities’ requirements.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, subcontractors, authorities, and relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and review site-related documents such as Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Work Procedures.
- Manage and handle on-site technical matters, ensuring the project is executed according to construction standards and specifications.
- Ensure the project is on schedule and within budget.
- Perform on-site measurements and reconcile them with drawings.
- Review, amend, and provide feedback on shop drawings.
- Coordinate with Professional Engineers and relevant government agencies (e.g., LTA, BCA, HDB, PUB).
- Ensure all site staff attend Tool Box Meetings (TBM).
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- Preferably with experience in LTA (Land Transport Authority) and PUB (Public Utilities Board) projects.
- Basic experience in dealing with local authorities and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to handle site challenges effectively.
- Solid skills in work preparation, scheduling, and site supervision.
- Willingness to work day or night shifts, 6 days per week.
- Positive attitude, good team player, and able to work effectively under tight schedules.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
