Job Description
- Position: Production Assistant
- Singapore's leading seafood processors, exporters and distributors
- Working hours: 5.5 days (Monday to Friday, 8am – 5.30pm; Saturday 8am – 12noon)
- Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $1,800 basic salary + OT + Meal provided
- Working Location: Jurong
- Outpatient Medical & Dental Benefits Provided
- Duration: Permanent
- Industry: Processing and preserving of seafood
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of the fish processing line, including cleaning, cutting, filleting, and packaging of seafood products.
- Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards during all production activities.
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in the production process.
- Follow hygiene and safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to HACCP and ISO food safety requirements, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Provide support during peak production times, including overtime if necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience in food production or manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices (HACCP certification is an advantage).
