Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintenance and Repairs:Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators, and fire safety systems.
    Handle minor repairs (e.g., fixing light fixtures, unclogging drains, repairing doors or windows).
  2. Building Systems Monitoring:Monitor the performance of critical systems like heating, cooling, and ventilation.
    Ensure proper functioning of security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.).
  3. Emergency Response:Respond promptly to building emergencies such as power outages, water leaks, or fire alarms.
    Coordinate with external contractors for large-scale repairs or issues beyond in-house capabilities.
  4. Inspections and Compliance:Conduct routine building and equipment inspections to ensure compliance with local safety and building regulations.
    Maintain logs and records of inspections, incidents, and maintenance work.
  5. Tenant Interaction:Address residents’ complaints and maintenance requests in a courteous and professional manner.
    Provide updates on the status of repairs or issues.
  6. Inventory Management:Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables required for maintenance work.
    Order supplies as needed and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  7. Collaborating with Management:Work closely with property managers or supervisors to prioritize maintenance tasks.
    Provide recommendations for long-term maintenance planning.
