Application Development Team Lead
Our client is looking for an experienced Application Development Team Lead to guide a dynamic team focused on software solutions in the financial sector. The successful candidate will bring experience in managing cross-regional collaborations, a strong technical foundation, and the ability to drive high-impact projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to a diverse team of 18 members, including 7 direct reports.
- Partner with regional teams to ensure seamless project integration and effective communication channels.
- Supervise the development and upkeep of critical software platforms tailored for trading and financial operations.
- Oversee IT systems, ensuring adherence to best practices for operational efficiency, security, and compliance with software lifecycle standards.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in leadership roles within financial services, with experience in trading systems or brokerage environments.
- Expertise in managing software projects and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, solve complex problems, and manage projects effectively.
- Familiarity with software development practices, including lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in technical tools or programming is a bonus.
- Fluency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
