Role :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven professional to manage the Company's operational and financial matters. Join our dynamic finance team as an Accountant.
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with accounting shared services in Philippine and Malaysia to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes
- Review Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation prepared by accounting shared services in Philippine and Malaysia
- Prepare withholding tax return, GST return, declaration and related documentation requested by the tax authority.
- Support the business and management in any business analysis, projects, initiatives, and other duties assigned.
- Provide financial/accounting support to other departments/ business units
- Review, enhance, participate, and implement financial and control process improvement
- Treasury function - Liaise with banks for banking matters
- Plan and co-ordinate for quarterly and year-end stock take
- Plan and co-ordinate for year-end fixed asset sighting
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, addressing the audit issues, working with the operation team to ensure the implementation of audit recommendations
- Assist for yearend tax filing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline (or equivalent professional qualifications)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting
- Hands-on Experience with accounting software preferably Oracle
- Good team player and possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to multitask and willing to be hands-on.
- Pro-active, self-motivated and eager to acquire knowledge.
- Able to work independently, under tight timelines and pressure.
