Responsibilities:
Global Sustainability Strategy
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine the Group’s sustainability roadmap, aligning with global industry trends, corporate objectives, and legislative requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including regional and site sustainability coordinators and corporate functions, to review and update sustainability KPIs, projects, and initiatives, driving Group’s sustainability goals
- Lead efforts to align and refine the sustainability roadmap during Quarterly Global Sustainability Reviews, identifying improvement areas and prioritizing investments aligned with Group targets and strategic objectives
- Engage with sustainability consultants, industry bodies, and task forces to accelerate the decarbonization journey across the Group, supporting the industry's transition to net-zero
- Represent Group in global sustainability forums such as the Semiconductor Climate Consortium, contributing ideas and collaborating on industry-wide initiatives
Sustainability Reporting and Performance Management
- Coordinate the gathering, consolidation, and verification of sustainability data from all sites to prepare the Annual Group Sustainability Report, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with global reporting standards
- Analyse Group and site-level sustainability performance, identifying challenges, opportunities, and actionable insights to enhance progress toward goals
- Drive continuous improvement in Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emission measurement, tracking, and reporting, ensuring alignment with international standards and customer expectations
- Enhance emission accounting practices for customer-specific products and processes to meet tailored reporting requirements and improve transparency
Stakeholder Collaboration and Governance
- Plan and lead the Quarterly Global Sustainability Review to align strategies, programs, and initiatives with benchmarks and emerging trends
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate sustainability functions into corporate procedures and the Global Documentation Management System, ensuring standardized and efficient processes
- Work closely with corporate communications to highlight sustainability efforts, promote successes, and engage both internal and external stakeholders
- Act as the overall point of contact for Group regarding customers’ sustainability requirements, ensuring a standardized and effective approach to address their needs
- Front customer requests related to sustainability advancements, including renewable energy, Science-Based Targets initiatives (SBTi), carbon neutrality, and net-zero strategies
Sustainability Integration and Innovation
- Drive the adoption of sustainability practices across the organization, including renewable energy deployment, waste reduction programs, water conservation, and resource efficiency initiatives
- Collaborate with operations, R&D, and supply chain teams to advance low-carbon manufacturing practices and explore circular economy opportunities in the semiconductor industry
- Monitor and respond to evolving industry trends, regulations, and legislative changes, ensuring the organisation remains a leader in compliance and sustainability innovation
Requirements:
- Master degree / Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field
- At least 10-15 years in sustainability roles, with significant leadership experience in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry
- Proven expertise in emission measurement (Scope 1, 2, and 3), sustainability reporting, and stakeholder collaboration
- Strategic thinking with the ability to integrate sustainability into business objectives
- Strong project management and data analysis capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Deep understanding of global sustainability trends, frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, ISSB, SBTi), and regulatory landscapes
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead change in complex, global organizations
