Job Description:
Major job scope includes but not limited to:
- Responsible for new product development from electronic circuity design to final power module packaging and its application
- Responsible on supporting NPI test development from small volume sample up to production release
- Define test schematics, design/optimize test loadboards, create test plans and optimize test methodologies
- Hands on experience on Design For Testability (DFT) from IC design techniques and testability features to a hardware product design
- Responsible for new product characterization and product datasheet
- Work with design and application engineers in defining and developing test methodologies, test plans, test modes and DFT meeting to product datasheet
- Experience in data analysis using industry-standard software/tools for product characterization, electrical and temperature simulation, 6-sigma analysis and etc
- To support Customers specific application characterization request and helping resolving customer application problem
- Responsible to coordinate and actively participate in Product/Process DFMEA, ensuring success in engineering build for New Product Introduction (NPI), including formulating all product engineering documentation and sustain the product until mass production
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Microelectronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or any related course and experience
- Minimum 5 years working experience on High Power Semiconductor Product Development
- Excellent oral and written skills in English and Chinese
- With relevant work experience on Product characterization equipment and bench testing tools
- Possess expertise in C++, Visual Basic programming, SmartTest 7.x.x/8.x.x & debug techniques
- Strong communication skills, effectively communicating technical concept and work collaboratively
- Good understanding on Semiconductor Power Module manufacturing and Technical Know-How
- Good understanding on Automotive product testing and expectation
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, as well as internal and external partners.
- To be based in Singapore and required frequent travel to China
