An exciting opportunity as an Electrical, Instrument & Telecom/ QC Inspector awaits the successful candidate.
Responsibilities:
· Carry out inspection as per daily inspections requests/job assigned by QA Trainee Technicians/Technicians.
· Co-ordinate with production QC on inspection and quality-controlled activities.
· Report to QA Engineers/QA Technicians with regards to any non-compliance or discrepancies found during inspections.
· Be familiar with loop test, Hi pot test, Mechanical completion check ITR.
· Perform E&I related Equipment and material inspection during receiving meet the purchase specifications.
· Check for protection and preservation of Electrical & Instrument system.
· Assign the systems to be tested to the various supervisors and technicians involved in the operation.
· Ensure the Quality work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
· Coordinate with all sections for Inspection & testing requirements.
· Liaise with owners, class surveyors and government bodies pertaining to project requirements.
· Coordinate the testing/ commissioning requirements with Engineering, Project Manager, QA Department, and vendors.
· Report and non-conformance and issue Improvement note, where necessary.
· Ensure timely completion of project.
· Ensure all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
· Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
· Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
· Minimum 5-10 years of experience, 3 years in marine construction and installations
· Familiar with word/Excel/quality software
· ISA CCST Level II / Level III
