Responsibilities
- Deeply understand and analyse the requirements related to OMS and Custodian systems for US brokerages and translate them into detailed system requirements documents.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirements and produce comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), ensuring that trading systems meet business and regulatory needs.
- Conduct thorough analysis of trading, clearing, and settlement processes for brokerages, optimising workflows in OMS and Custodian systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with SEC and FINRA regulations.
- Work closely with development teams and solution architects to provide detailed requirements guidance, assisting in the design of technical solutions that align with business needs.
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develop test cases, and ensure that the system functionalities meet business requirements while managing issue tracking and resolution.
- Stay updated on changes in the US regulatory environment, particularly in relation to OMS and Custodian systems, and work with the compliance team to ensure systems adhere to the latest requirements.
- Contribute to ongoing system enhancements by providing recommendations based on business changes and technological developments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with in-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with US Order Management Systems (OMS) and Custodian systems.
- Strong understanding of US securities market regulations, including SEC, FINRA, and DTC.
- Proven ability to gather and analyse business requirements, document workflows, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Proficient in business analysis and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio).
