Accountant (Govt/Education, 6 months) | SPMG

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure timely and accurate quarterly and yearly reporting and quarterly grant claims.
2. Responsible for all the accounting entries contributing to reporting.
3. Reconcile and check that grant amounts received are correct.
4. Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors and funding agencies where required.
5. Support and ensure compliance with funding guidelines, procedures, government instruction manual.
6. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Possesses minimum a Diploma in Business or Accountancy with at least 3 years of relevant Accounting experience.
2. Understanding of accounting knowledge and Statutory Board Financial Reporting Standards (SB-FRS)
3. Excellent communication skills with attention to detail.
