Responsibilities:

  • Build and Upgrade of Red Hat Linux/ Windows Operating Systems to latest.
    • Installation/Configuration/Upgrade of Servers.
    • Study the Servers Inventory and assess to qualify for OS Upgrade.
    • Perform the preparation work required for OS Upgrade.
    • Proactively resolve the issues leading up to Upgrade Window.
    • Perform the OS Upgrade activities including Patching, Hardening, rollback (if needed).
    • Preventive/Proactive Support.
    • Incident/Change/Problem Management.
    • Support for post-build activities like Hardening, detailed verification.
  • Other IT Infrastructure Related Tasks.
  • Able to support on weekends/ roster as per Change implementation tasks.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise (Mid to Expert Level):

  • Bachelor’s in Information technology or equivalent.
  • Having 3+ years of extensive experience in Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 server administration.
  • Experience with VMWare at L2 level.
  • Hands-on exp on Powercli, Bigfix.
  • Experience in performing hardening and VA remediation.
  • Professional understanding of networking related to Windows.
  • Professional understanding of SAN Storage related to Windows.
  • Good understanding of large Data Center Facilities operation.
