Responsibilities:
- Build and Upgrade of Red Hat Linux/ Windows Operating Systems to latest.
- Installation/Configuration/Upgrade of Servers.
- Study the Servers Inventory and assess to qualify for OS Upgrade.
- Perform the preparation work required for OS Upgrade.
- Proactively resolve the issues leading up to Upgrade Window.
- Perform the OS Upgrade activities including Patching, Hardening, rollback (if needed).
- Preventive/Proactive Support.
- Incident/Change/Problem Management.
- Support for post-build activities like Hardening, detailed verification.
- Other IT Infrastructure Related Tasks.
- Able to support on weekends/ roster as per Change implementation tasks.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise (Mid to Expert Level):
- Bachelor’s in Information technology or equivalent.
- Having 3+ years of extensive experience in Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 server administration.
- Experience with VMWare at L2 level.
- Hands-on exp on Powercli, Bigfix.
- Experience in performing hardening and VA remediation.
- Professional understanding of networking related to Windows.
- Professional understanding of SAN Storage related to Windows.
- Good understanding of large Data Center Facilities operation.
