About the job
You will be responsible for the Asia Pacific region, overseeing governance, risk and compliance across the region, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and managing relationships with regulators. This includes monitoring legislative changes, maintaining control frameworks, managing incident escalations, and providing advisory on compliance matters. The role also involves ensuring data protection, developing training programs, supporting policy creation, and acting as a liaison with external auditors and regulators. Additionally, the manager will lead team development, and stay updated on regulatory changes to uphold high compliance standards.
Skills and experience required
At least 12 years of experience in risk/compliance in the insurance sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. You should possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with proven experience in managing teams and complex projects.
