Job Purpose:
Prepare and analyse Financial Reporting to Group Office, involve in all FRS 109 related matter, and other ad hoc relating to Financial Reporting Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly reporting package to Group Office and also relevant notes to year end Financial Statement.
- Prepare, post and analyse FRS 109 month end provison.
- Perform monthly monitoring on FRS 109 provision model to ensure model is still valid, otherwise, highlight and re-visit the model together with Group Finance.
- Involve and explore
- Attend to ad hoc request from both Group Office and Business Unit, relating to financial reporting and FRS 109 related matters.
- Manage external auditor’s queries/request for their half year and year end audit purposes.
- Assist in technical accounting matters / NPAP, etc.
- Provide ad-hoc assistance to Decision Support team and Finance Business Partners.
Job requirements:
- Possess an Accounting Degree from recognised institutions or Professional Accounting Qualification
- Has worked or audit experience in Banking and Financial Sector.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Meticulous and details-oriented
- Proficiency with data tools/excel
