Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Allied Health Professionals to lead and manage a team of specialists (e.g., psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists) in delivering high-quality, tailored interventions for individuals with autism. This leadership role will oversee the development and implementation of therapeutic services, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to support clients across their developmental journey. The Head of Allied Health will mentor staff, ensure the alignment of services with organisational goals, and collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to optimise outcomes for individuals with autism.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of allied health professionals in providing autism-specific services.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and care plans.
  • Foster collaboration between allied health professionals and other departments.
  • Mentor and support staff development to enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant health regulations.
  • Advocate for individuals with autism within the broader community and service network.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree and professional qualifications in allied health (e.g., Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy).
  • Proven leadership experience in autism-related services.
  • Strong communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.
