Responsibilities
- Inspection & Quality Control: Perform incoming and outgoing inspections according to established procedures, including factory routine tests and official tests for switchboards. Ensure that non-conforming products are separated and rejected as necessary.
- Quality Documentation: Maintain quality records and file data. Highlight quality issues to the appropriate management for action.
- Authorization & Release: Authorize the rejection of unsatisfactory parts and the release of conforming parts for storage and customer delivery.
- Customer Satisfaction & Warranty: Ensure the successful testing and commissioning of switchboards on-site or on vessels, and address warranty claims or customer quality complaints.
- Problem Prevention & Solutions: Initiate actions to prevent non-conformities, recommend solutions, and verify their implementation.
- Safety, Calibration & Housekeeping: Follow safety rules, use calibrated instruments for inspections, maintain good housekeeping in the QA department, and assist the manager in meeting quality objectives.
Qualifications
- Min ITE/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- At least 2 years of QA experience
