Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
- Accurately process payroll on a monthly basis for more than 300 employees.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation, tax requirements, and company policies.
- Manage all aspects of payroll, including deductions, overtime, bonuses, commissions, benefits, and other payroll-related transactions.
- Review and verify payroll data, ensuring accuracy and completeness before processing.
Stakeholder Management:
- Work with internal departments, including HR and Finance, to gather necessary information and resolve payroll-related queries.
- Work closely with external payroll vendors, tax authorities, and other relevant third parties to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and taxation matters in a timely and professional manner.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to Singaporean employment laws on matters on CPF contributions, tax filing, and other statutory deductions.
- Prepare and submit all statutory reports, including CPF, tax filings, and other mandatory documents, in compliance with government deadlines.
- Assist in internal audits, maintaining accurate records and reports of payroll transactions and related documentation.
Payroll System Management:
- Maintain and update the payroll system to ensure the accurate capture of employee data and payroll-related information.
- Work with HRIS/payroll software system to enhance payroll processing efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide recommendations for improving payroll processes and systems.
Recordkeeping & Confidentiality:
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll and employee information.
- Ensure that all payroll records are properly maintained and archived according to company policies and legal requirements.
Other Related Tasks:
- Assist with annual salary review and bonus processing.
- Support any other payroll-related tasks or projects as required by the HR or Finance departments.
- Manage payroll operations.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of payroll processing experience in Singapore, preferably in fast-paced environment for a workforce over 300 employees.
- Experience with other payroll software systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar.
- Strong understanding of Singapore's labor laws, tax regulations, and CPF requirements.
- High working proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
