Leading global financial institution dedicated to driving innovation and excellence. Their technology team is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain their next-generation platforms.
Job Summary:
As a Platform Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our platform infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-based technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of our platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain platform infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-based technologies
- Lead the setup of CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and other tools
- Collaborate with different teams to understand environment build requirements
- Troubleshoot and debug environment-related issues
- Document scripts and automation processes for future reference and maintenance
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of experience in platform engineering or a related field
- Strong domain knowledge of platform infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-based technologies
- Proficiency in Linux and cloud platforms (Kubernetes)
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, JavaScript)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder relationship management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk)
- Experience with Dynatrace integrations
- Knowledge of Rabbit MQ and Redis
- Familiarity with Java and simple UI development
