Responsibilities
- Assist project manager to manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget
- Coordinate with internal team and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
- Oversee the design, implementation, and integration of control systems, SCADA systems, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to meet client requirements
- Prepare and review project documentation, including project plans, specifications, technical drawings, and operation manuals
- Conduct site surveys, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and commissioning activities at client sites
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, hardware and software integration
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all projects activities
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users during the implementation and handover phases
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure delivery of materials and services on time
- Assist in preparing technical proposals and cost estimates for new projects
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering or related fields
- 2-5 years of experience in project management, automation, and control systems, preferably in industries such as water treatment, oil & gas, manufacturing, or infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of SCADA, DCS PLC programming
- Familiar with communication protocols like Modbus, DNP3, and OPC
- Hands-on experience with field commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
- Strong project management skills, including plannings, scheduling, budgeting and resource management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationship and work in a team-oriented environment
- Professional Certificate holders in PMP or Certified Automation Professional is a plus
